This was more of an exercise in learning some new basic video editing tricks while availing myself of the opportunity to make fun of Blizzard and their latest antics through a little bit of parodying. Had I had more time and skills at my disposal, I’d turn this into a full blown abridged parody.
Now, if I may be honest with you all, I’ve been going through a rough downward depressive state lately, and this whole silly thing was sort of a way for me to distract myself out of all the mental baggage and stress while creating something funny to help me snap out of the negative feedback loop, even if the ‘humor’ of this low quality video is too inside joke-y.
But hey, if at least one person finds it funny, then it was all worth it! Regardless, I ended up learning new things, and that’s all that matters to me.
One of the biggest hurdles was actually getting this video uploaded, because of my extremely slow upload speeds and my ever disconnecting ADSL line. I ended up burning through 75% of my cellphone’s monthly data plan trying to upload this video.
I really wanna do more video related content that’s lighthearted and parody in nature, but alas, there’s only so much that I can do with this internet of mine, it is seriously the biggest obstacle, and one that isn’t just worth the price to overcome in this country and what few available private ISPs are in my area.
